What Is Needed To Make It Functional

Power Source

Customer must provide:

standard 110V outlet
dedicated outlet recommended
power access close enough for blower and projector setup

The blower must stay running while the screen is in use.

Projector Needed

A projector is required to display the movie, game, slideshow, or presentation.

Best results with:

outdoor-compatible projector
higher brightness projector
HDMI-compatible projector
streaming device, laptop, DVD player, or gaming system

Sound Needed

Projectors usually do not provide enough sound for outdoor events.

Recommended sound options:

Bluetooth speaker
JBL PartyBox
PA speaker
portable sound system

Because tiny projector speakers outdoors are basically movie night on whisper mode. 😂

Media Source Needed

Customer will need a way to play the content, such as:

laptop
phone/tablet
streaming stick
DVD/Blu-ray player
gaming console
downloaded movie file

Internet/Wi-Fi

Needed only if streaming.

For best results:

test Wi-Fi before event
use downloaded content if possible
bring hotspot backup if needed

Recommended:

flat grassy area
clear space around screen
no sharp rocks, branches, sticks, or debris
room behind or in front depending on projection style

Weather Requirements

Best used in calm, dry weather.

Rules & Safety

Backyard Blockbuster Rules

1. No Climbing On The Screen

It is a movie screen, not a bounce house with a college degree.

2. Keep Sharp Objects Away

No knives, sticks, heels, pets, tools, or rogue marshmallow skewers near the inflatable.

3. Blower Must Stay On

The blower must remain plugged in and running during use.

If it turns off, the screen gets dramatic and slowly faints.

4. Watch The Weather

Do not use during rain, storms, lightning, or high winds.

We love a dramatic movie scene.
We do not love chasing a 24-foot screen across the yard.

5. Keep Food & Drinks Away From Equipment

Popcorn near the chairs? Perfect.
Pop near the projector? Absolutely not, Hollywood.

6. Adult Supervision Required

Especially if kids are present.

And especially if adults start saying, “I wonder if I can touch the top.”

No. No you cannot. 😂

7. Secure All Cords

Power cords should be placed safely to prevent tripping.

Movie night should not include surprise stunt work.

8. Use On A Clear, Flat Surface

Setup area must be free of:

rocks
sticks
sharp debris
fire pits
sprinkler heads
anything pointy and suspicious

9. No Open Flames Nearby

Keep fire pits, grills, candles, sparklers, and heaters safely away from the inflatable screen.

Movie night: yes.
Inflatable BBQ: no.

10. Return It Clean

Please remove trash, food, candy, popcorn, and mystery sticky substances from the area.

We don’t need to know what happened with the melted chocolate. We just need it gone. 😂
